Growing up my Father used to tell me, “money talks and bullshit walks,” and according to the latest fundraising numbers released by the Republican Governors Association, the RGA is ready to dominate the conversation in 2014.

The RGA raised over $23 million in the first six months of 2013, beating the Democratic Governors Association in fundraising efforts by $10 million.

With more than $37 million cash on hand, the RGA is in a strong position to help re-elect current Republican governors such as, Governor Rick Scott, and target key Democratic-held seats in 38 governor’s races. Who knows what 2014 will bring, but I can guarantee you, this fundraising surge is just the beginning for the GOP.
